I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are appetizing and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we pass a pleasing time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
At the first moment you step in this restaurant the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very hospitable waiters, it is a lovely restaurant to to go out with friends or with your date. delicious food, talented chief cook and stuff, decent cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
We arrived at this spot for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was great. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.
Best Chinese take out around. I lived in New Fairfield for 23 years and just recently moved to New Milford and I still make the drive for their awesome food. The family that runs it is always very nice and accommodating!

I have been ordering food here for the past 4 years and have always had a good experience. Tonight however, I ordered through door dash because my baby was sleeping at home. My door dash driver did not go pick up the food, and someone from Main Moon called me, yelling at me to coming pick up my food. He told me to call door dash and figure it out. I tried, but was on hold for 15 minutes. When I told him I couldn't leave my house due to my sleeping baby, he continued yelling at me, asking who was going to come pick up the food he made, that people are starving, and that I needed to come pick it up. When I said I couldn't leave the house, he hung up on me. While I understand they made a product and don't want it to go to waste, I don't appreciate being yelled at over the phone. They chose to allow door dash to deliver their food. I had already paid for my food. The customer support at door dash handled the situation, but the man I spoke to made me never want to eat their food again.
I ordered off of Grubhub & it took an hour and a half for delivery, I don’t blame the restaurant. There was a dead fly in my fried rice & the fried dumplings were weird to say the least... I ate the sweet and sour chicken as it’s pretty hard to mess that up, but I wouldn’t order from here again 🤷‍♀️
I have been ordering from here for 10 plus years . This is the first time I have a called and said any type of suggestion. . The steam chicken and broccoli with brown sauce on the side was unbearably salty and gross. So was the dumpling sauce . I called them it was a $54.00 order . There response was - your the only one who complained! No issue - They used to be the only game in town , but times have changed . I see there old management style is back even with new owners.
Just ordered some egg rolls for a Saturday snack. Got home and... They are all burnt rock hard and uneditible Why would you serve someone food that you know what overcooked past any reasonable level.
The worst Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. The Dumplings tasted like they were processed rubber. The Lo Mein was tasteless dry noodles which has to be the easiest dish to make. I can go on and on about every dish but I think you’ll get the point. This was the third and last time I’ll be ordering from this place.

On behalf of New Fairfield Tree Service, we've read many of the reviews on Main Moon Chinese Restaurant and realized that most of the bad reviews came from people who ordered through one of those 3rd party apps like grubhub.  One of our climbers always uses that app then complains about how messed up his food is.  

We order Main Moon weekly because it's the best Chinese in New Fairfield!  We love that little restaurant and hope it never changes.
